René + Emily love downtown New Orleans, cities, skylines, urban life. They also also love the art deco, vintage feel of the Federal Ballroom. They blended all these things perfectly into their wedding day.
“We both love different eras, especially Emily”, says René. Emily lives for fashion and studying the societal changes of the different eras. Their wedding inspiration is a mixture of two eras, the sophistication of the 1910s,”Downton Abbey”, with the main focus on the 1920s, The Great Gatsby, but on an airy note feel since it is in the summer.
