Beautiful Spring New Orleans wedding at Race and Religious.
Ashleigh wanted a unique New Orleans setting for her wedding. She absolutely found that at Race and Religious.
Sarah with Mint Julep Productions helped Ashleigh and Steve plan their wedding with Ashleigh’s vision of a rustic modern theme. Poppy and Mint floral company had amazing spring bouquets with peonies in fuchsia with gold accents. The ceremony flowers were big floral balls of white hydrangeas and roses also with gold accents.
Ashleigh and Steve opted for a sweet first look on the third floor of Race and Religious. We were then able to go around Race and Religious gorgeous grounds to photograph their pre-ceremony photos.
Guests were greeted with drinks and a monogrammed canvas thank you bags filled with the brides favorite bottle of bubbles and the grooms favorite bottle of Bourbon. They had beautiful golden hour lighting at their ceremony right before sunset.
Afterwards the guest were treated great food and drinks along with a display of cookies and a four tier cake by La Louisiana Bakery that featured a different flavor on each layer. We absolutely adored the chalk written sign that was a quote by Julia Childs that said, “a party without cake is just a meeting”. Guests danced the night away, and Steve even sang Ashleigh a song. The reception ended with Ashleigh and her bridesmaids jumping in the pool. Congratulations Ashleigh and Steve, we’re so happy you had the time of your lives.
